Lifelong Learning Award 2011

The BMUKK and the BMWF gave the Lifelong Learning Award 2011. The outstanding achievements in EU Education Programme "Lifelong Learning" were awarded.

On 2 December, 2011 the Science- and Researchminister Karlheinz Töchterle and BMUKK-Department chef Theodor Siegl gave the Lifelong Learning Award 2011 to the Erasmus-Intensive Programme "BEAM" in the presence of approximately 250 guests from the entire education field. The award put the focus on the quality of European cooperation in the field of education and is given every year by the National Agency Lifelong Learning.

The awarded Erasmus-Intensive-Programme "BEAM" - Building European Identity through Spirit, Sense and Meaning - was initiated and coordinated during three years by Ms Prof. Mag. Dr. Pia-Maria Rabensteiner, BEd. Thanks to a good cooperation with the involved international partner institutions, the project was successful.

A wholehearted thanks to the professors and students who took part in this project.
